Eyebrows will appear darker and bolder due to natural scabbing and healing for the first 10 days. This is very common for all permanent cosmetic procedures. They will lighten up to 40 - 50%.
NO cleansers, creams, makeup or any other products on the treated area for 10 days.
First 48 hours after the procedure follow these instructions every 2 hours: clean the area with sterile water and a cotton pad and allow to air dry, then apply a very thin layer of ointment.
DO NOT rub, pick or scratch the treated area. Let any scabbing or dry skin naturally exfoliate off. Picking can cause scarring.
Avoid direct sun exposure or tanning for 3-4 weeks after the procedure.
Avoid heavy sweating for the first 10 days.
NO facials, Botox, chemical treatments and microdermabrasion for 4 weeks.
Avoid sleeping on your face for the first 10 days.
LONG-TERM CARE
Use a good sunscreen on your eyebrows if you plan to be in the sun for prolonged periods of time. Sun exposure will fade your permanent cosmetics.
If you are planning a chemical peel, laser procedure or an MRI scan, please inform the technician of your permanent cosmetics.
The use of Retin A / Tretinoin or any other rapid skin exfoliation products regularly on the forehead area will cause the permanent makeup on the eyebrow area to fade prematurely.
The use of chemical peels and acid peels regularly on the forehead region can also cause eyebrow tattoos to fade prematurely.

Consultation
Once you arrive we will discuss your preference and find the right shape and style for your eyebrows that match your facial features best. The technician will also recommend what technique is best for your skin type and brow hair, so no need to stress about choosing the technique when booking.

Pre-draw
The technician will pre-draw the shape with a makeup pencil and won't start the procedure until you are 100% satisfied with the shape. You will also get to choose the color out of 50+ different shades of brown.

Numbing
Once the shape and color have been chosen, the technician will start the procedure and apply the numbing gel. We use a powerful 4% lidocaine for numbing so the majority of our clients report minimal to no pain at all during the procedure. Numbing works in 2-3 minutes and can be reapplied if needed.

Once the area is numbed the technician will start depositing the ink into the skin either with a tattoo gun or a handheld device depending on the technique chosen. The procedure is very topical. Brow hair DOES NOT have to be removed for this procedure.

Aftercare instructions
Finally, when the permanent makeup procedure is complete we talk about the immediate and long-term aftercare and recomend how to maintain the results for longer. You will receive an aftercare kit to take home.

Touch up in 4-10 weeks
In 80% of cases, the touch-up procedure is needed in 4-10 weeks(not included in the cost of the initial procedure as not everyone will need it). Our body tries its best to reject any foreign substance and that's why not all the ink deposited will retain once healed. Some people might retain 90% of the color, while others retain only 50%. It is up to you if you want to get a touch-up or not and can be determined once the brows are healed in a couple of weeks after the initial procedure

Permanent cosmetic makeup is cosmetic tattooing. The specialized techniques used for permanent cosmetics are often referred to as "micropigmentation", "micropigment implantation" or "dermagraphics". The cosmetic implantation technique deposits colored pigment into the upper reticular layer of the dermis.
Permanent cosmetics procedures are performed using various devices, including the traditional tattoo machines, the pen or rotary machine (includes the digital rotary machines), and the non-machine or hand device. The process includes a consultation, the application of pigment, and at least one or more follow-up visits for evaluating the healed design work and color of the pigment.
The initial procedure will generally take approximately 2 ½ - 3 hours; there are records to establish; photographs to take; desired design and color to discuss; numbing process; the procedure to perform; and the aftercare requirements to discuss. Follow-up or color refresher procedures usually do not require the same amount of time.
Most people experience some minor discomfort. This will vary according to each individual's pain threshold. There are different methods available, however, to help with discomfort management, including various topical anesthetics that are specifically developed for our industry. Your permanent cosmetic professional should discuss these methods with you to determine which one is appropriate. To put this in perspective, thousands of body art tattoos are performed annually, possibly millions. As a rule, traditional tattoo professionals do not use any anesthetics for their tattoo procedures. Anesthetics for permanent cosmetics are more of a tattoo service luxury because of the nature of the tattoo location and the fact that permanent cosmetics fall into the beauty treatment category. Other factors such as menstrual cycles also affect the level of sensitivity.
People who meet minimum age requirements and have the ability to heal properly from minor wounds can benefit from the liberating benefits of permanent cosmetics. Interest in this service spans the young to the more mature; those who desire a soft, natural enhancement to their appearance. It is especially valuable to people who can't wear traditional cosmetics due to allergies and skin sensitivities; active people who want to look their best for sports activities such as swimming, hiking, biking, tennis, aerobics; and those who don't want to worry about "sweating off" or reapplying cosmetics. Permanent Cosmetics also benefit the visually challenged who have difficulty applying their cosmetics; and others with dexterity-related conditions such as arthritis, Parkinson's disease, multiple sclerosis, stroke survivors, and busy people who don't have time to spend applying and refreshing makeup throughout the day and evening.
