Classic eyelash extensions (one on one application) is a traditional technique of doing eyelash extensions, with one extension applied on each of your natural lashes accentuating your eyes.
This technique creates a soft and natural look, ideal for clients seeking a subtle enhancement that complements their features without too much volume. We offer classic lash extensions at both of our locations - Downtown Toronto and Midtown Toronto.
This technique involves using ultra-fine eyelash extension fibres, formed in "closed fans" (not fanned out like in traditional volume lashes), to achieve a glossy and textured finish that beautifully imitates the appearance of wet and more textured lashes. In the

Aftercare for Lash Extensions
is simple!
aftercare
Oil-free makeup remover if you use waterproof makeup is a must!
03
Use oil-free products on your eye area
02
Clean your lashes daily with a soft bristle brush (eyeshadow brush works perfectly!) and a foaming lash cleanser.
This prevents the skin oil, bacteria, and makeup from building up on your lash line and will help your lash extensions last longer!
01
You can get your lashes wet right away! Yes, no need to avoid water.
It's an old myth that has no scientific backup whatsoever that you have to keep your lashes dry for the first 24h/48h/eternity. Glue cures in seconds and water does not affect it once it's cured. Guaranteed! If you have sensitive eyes washing your lashes with a lash cleanser right after the application helps a ton with redness and irritation.

Makeup and lash extensions
Avoid oily formulas around your eyes. We recommend refraining from using eyeliner and oily pencils and switching to eyeshadows as it's easier to remove.
Everyone has a different lash cycle and our lashes grow and shed at a different speed. It's normal to lose up to 10 natural lashes per eye per day(all as a part of the natural growth and shedding cycle). That's why we normally recommend coming for refills every 2-3 weeks but you'll have to find the time frame that works best for you! Keep in mind that you have 120+ lashes per eye and it's normal to lose a couple of lashes every day as a part of your natural shedding cycle!
06
Come back for refills frequently!
04
Avoid these mistakes
Avoid extreme heat!
And we are not talking about your Caribbean vacation! Be careful around cigarettes, candles, campfires, BBQs, or any other source of open flame or heat! Since lashes are made from PBT(type of plastic) they might melt, singe, or lose the curl. Also, don't point your blow dryer on high heat setting directly onto the lashes - that will not singe them but they might lose the curl from the hot air!
Avoid rubbing or pulling your lashes
Avoid sleeping on your face (hello wrinkles!)
Avoid mascara, strip lashes, and lash curlers.
This might seem kind of obvious but we think we should still warn you! Mascara will clump your lashes together, strip lash glue will be impossible to remove from the lash line without tipping some extensions off and lash curler will simply ruin your lash extensions.

Eyelash Extensions is a lash enhancement procedure with individual synthetic fibres that are curved to replicate a natural eyelash applied to natural lashes. Our lashes are thicker at the base and taper to a fine point which makes them appear very natural. They are applied on to individual eyelashes, one extension at a time, for a natural, elegant look to lengthen and add fullness to the existing lashes.
With proper application, eyelash extensions look and feel completely real. Each application is customized to suit the individual. We offer six thicknesses of lashes and four different curls with lengths ranging from 7mm to 18mm in a variety of colors for highlighting effects. Varying individual synthetic lash lengths are chosen to carefully replicate the shape and frame of a natural lash line. The thickness of the eyelash extension applied is determined by the health and thickness of your natural lashes as well as your personal preference. The overall effect is added curl, thickness, and length, opening up the eye for added definition.
Eyelash extensions are designed to be indistinguishable in size and weight from human lashes. They are flexible yet crimp-resistant, and they move with your natural lashes. As long as you keep up with the touch-up applications, it is almost impossible to tell that you are wearing the extensions.
Because an eyelash extension is an exact replica of an eyelash, it weighs about as much as a natural lash: practically nothing. You will not notice the addition of the extensions to your lashes and they will not cause your natural lashes to fall out ahead of their natural cycle as other enhancement methods can. Please feel free to review our client testimonials and before/after pictures for additional information on the look and feel of eyelash extensions.
It is an individual process. We lose between 1-5 eyelashes almost every day. We also grow a new lash to replace the one that fell out. Lash Extensions can last indefinitely with proper care and regular refills (maintenance). However, factors such as eyelash growth, lifestyle, and general aftercare will affect how long the lashes last. As your natural lashes fall out due to the growth cycle, you will need refills when new lashes grow. At Perfection Laboratory, our clients report long-lasting results and come back for refills every 2-3 weeks on average. You can get a refill any time before the 4-week mark. Learn more about why we need refills and what are the options HERE.
To be completely honest, it is not a simple yes or no answer. It depends on the application, the lashes used, and how one follows the aftercare advice given by the stylist. Eyelash extensions will not damage your natural lashes if applied correctly. There are two important facts that you should be aware of before you decide which lashes are best for you.
Long, thicker extensions are not always the best - The extensions used should be slightly longer and thicker than your natural eyelashes. Most of those who have experienced damaged lashes have had the wrong type of lashes applied by an uneducated stylist. Excess weight and length can cause stress on the natural lashes and result in the natural lashes breaking or prematurely shedding.
One extension should bond to one natural eyelash only - An experienced stylist would fully isolate a natural lash and adhere only one extension(or one volume fan) to that natural eyelash. This method allows your natural lashes to grow and shed freely and not be restricted by being stuck to other lashes. Damage to eyelashes is caused by the incorrect application and can result in itching, pinching, and massive clumping. To relieve any discomfort, the client would likely pick or pull out the offending extensions, resulting in damaged natural lashes or, even worse, bald eyes.
No. Only a trained professional will be able to safely apply for eyelash extensions. Unprofessional application or self-application may cause eye injury, lash damage, or unnatural-looking lashes. Eyelash extensions are applied one lash at a time to your individual natural eyelashes to achieve long, thick, and natural-looking eyelashes. The procedure involves bonding the synthetic extension to your own natural eyelashes and should be performed only by professionally trained Lash Stylists only.
Lash extensions vary in price based on multiple factors, such as
where you get them done - at a reputable eyelash salon that specializes in everything lash-related, prices might be higher than at a nail salon or with someone who works from a home setting.
the skill level of the lash artist - the more experienced and skilled the artist is the pricier it can get.
products used - places that use premium quality products tend to charge more for the services they provide
