- Numbing + lip augmentationThe procedure begins with an application of a topical numbing agent to ease any discomfort caused by the needle.

Nurse injector can recommend how much filler might be needed to achieve desired results. Most people start with 0.5 or 1 ml and build volume over the course of a few appointments.
This might vary from person to person, and the volume and longevity of the results may accumulate over time. Generally speaking your very first 0.5ml might last 6-12 months, and the more you add the longer the results will last.
We do apply numbing cream to minimize the discomfort + filler has numbing (lidocaine) in it.
We always recommend starting with a free consultation with the injector nurse to determine if we can inject over your existing filler or if its best to dissolve the filler first and start fresh.
Not really a downtime, but you might experience some swelling and bruising for the next couple of days. Minor swelling might last up to 2 weeks. Lips might feel sore, stiff or lumpy for first few weeks while the product settles and blends with your natural lip tissue.
